Understand warranty terms, coverage, and repair procedures.
Warranty Overview
All products supplied by Wantech Electronics are covered by a manufacturer-backed warranty, applicable to approved B2B customers only.
Warranty claims must be submitted via the customer account portal and are subject to:
- Verification of purchase
- Product inspection and testing
- Manufacturer approval
Submitting a warranty claim does not guarantee an automatic replacement, repair, or credit.
All claims are reviewed and processed in line with the manufacturer’s warranty policy and Wantech Electronics’ internal approval process.
Warranty periods are role-based and product-dependent, and may differ between brands and customer groups.
Standard warranty guidelines:
- Charging cables – No warranty
- Power banks: 6 – 12 months
- Wall & car chargers: 6 – 12 months
- Audio accessories: 3 – 6 months
- Electronic accessories with batteries: Up to 12 months
Final warranty eligibility is determined at the time of claim submission and approval through the B2B King request system.
Customers may be required to provide:
Supporting images or documentation.
Order number
Product SKU
Fault description
Whats Covered
This warranty covers hardware defects that occur under normal and intended use of the product.
Covered issues may include:
- Device not powering on
- Internal component failure
- Charging or connectivity failure caused by internal faults
All hardware defect claims must be:
Approved following inspection and testing
Submitted via the B2B customer account
Linked to a valid order number
Manufacturing faults refer to defects present at the time of production and not caused by handling, installation, or usage.
Examples include:
- Faulty internal wiring
- Defective soldering or components
- Product malfunction out of the box
Manufacturing fault claims are:
Processed through the B2B request and approval system
Subject to verification by Wantech Electronics and/or the manufacturer
Whats Not Covered
Warranty does not cover physical or cosmetic damage resulting from handling, transport, or external impact.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Cracks, dents, or broken components
- Burn marks or signs of overheating
- Bent connectors, ports, or pins
Products showing visible physical damage will be declined during inspection.
Damage caused by use outside of the product’s intended purpose is not covered under warranty.
Examples include:
- Overloading, incorrect voltage, or incompatible devices
- Use in unsuitable environments (heat, moisture, dust)
- Failure to follow manufacturer usage guidelines
Claims related to improper use will not be approved through the B2B claim system.
Products that have been altered, repaired, or modified in any way after sale are excluded from warranty coverage.
This includes:
- Opening or tampering with the product
- Third-party repairs or part replacements
- Software or firmware modifications (where applicable)
Any modification voids the warranty and will result in automatic claim rejection.
Repair Process
All warranty repairs require a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) before any product is sent back.
RMA requests must be:
- Submitted via the logged-in B2B customer account
- Linked to a valid order number
- Approved before return instructions are issued
Products returned without an approved RMA will not be accepted or processed.
Once the product is received, it will undergo inspection and testing.
- Standard inspection period: 5–10 business days
- Timeline may vary depending on product type and manufacturer requirements
- Customers will be notified of the inspection outcome via their account or email
Inspection is required to determine warranty eligibility and next steps.
Repair or replace
If a claim is approved, Wantech Electronics will determine the most appropriate resolution.
This may include:
- Repair of the product
- Replacement with the same or equivalent product
- Store credit (where applicable)
The resolution method is decided based on manufacturer availability and approval.
Repairs or replacements are not guaranteed and remain subject to final assessment.
