WANTECH ELECTRONICS — DELIVERY POLICY
1. Proof of Delivery
1.1 Any delivery note, waybill, or invoice (copy or original) signed by the Customer or a third-party courier shall serve as prima facie proof that:
- Delivery was completed, and
- The goods received match the quality and quantity reflected on the document.
2. Orders & Order Variations
2.1 All orders and variations to orders are subject to Wantech’s Terms & Conditions.
2.2 Only written orders or written variations will be accepted. Wantech may, at its discretion, accept telephonic or email-based instructions, but may refuse delivery until written confirmation is received.
2.3 Wantech may split delivery of goods into multiple shipments where necessary. Customer consent will not be unreasonably withheld.
2.4 Each shipment may be invoiced and delivered separately.
3. Transfer of Risk
3.1 Risk of loss, damage, or destruction of goods transfers to the Customer when the delivery note is signed by:
- The Customer, or
- The Customer’s nominated representative.
3.2 The Customer remains responsible for insuring goods until all amounts due are paid in full.
4. Use of Third-Party Transporters
4.1 Wantech may use contracted third-party couriers on terms it deems appropriate.
4.2 If the Customer chooses to use their own transporter or courier, the Customer indemnifies Wantech against any resulting delays, damages, losses, or claims.
5. Delivery Times & Scheduling
5.1 Delivery, installation, and performance times provided by Wantech are estimates only and not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
5.2 Wantech will use reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery times but is not liable for delays caused by:
- Stock shortages
- Courier delays
- Weather events
-Public holidays
-Operational disruptions
-Force majeure events
5.3 Delivery processing will occur only after funds reflect as cleared in Wantech’s bank account.
5.4 Deliveries follow Wantech’s weekly delivery schedule, which may be adjusted during peak seasons, public holidays, or extraordinary conditions.
6. Stock Availability & Exceptions
6.1 Stock shortages may result in:
- Partial deliveries
- Delayed deliveries
- Order splits
6.2 Public holidays or large courier network disruptions may temporarily affect delivery timelines.
7. Customer Collection from Wantech Premises
7.1 Valid identification may be required for collection.
Accepted documents include:
- Original driver’s licence
- Original or certified identity document
7.2 Customers must wait for written stock confirmation from Wantech before sending a driver or representative to collect.
8. Orders for Delivery – Shipping & Charges
8.1 Unless otherwise specified, orders will ship using the most cost-effective courier service.
8.2 Orders valued at R20,000 excl. VAT or higher qualify for free delivery via the most cost-effective service.
8.3 If the Customer chooses a faster or premium service, the applicable courier fee will be charged.
8.4 Additional surcharges may apply, including:
- Fuel surcharges
- Outlying area fees
- Drive-away or special-handling fees
These costs are for the Customer’s account.
8.5 Delivery charges are calculated and displayed during checkout and reflected on the final invoice.
8.6 Delivery estimates are guidelines only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date or time.
